Space Neighbors
Children’s Museum at La Habra
Ends August 27, 2023

Explore the museum’s space station, dress up in astronaut gear, construct a magnetic structure, program mini robots, prepare food in the station kitchen, watch a LIVE feed from the International Space Station, and more.

 


 


Camping in the City
Pretend City, Irvine
Ends September 4, 2o23

Walk through Pretend City trails, trace the footprints of furry friends, gather ’round the campfire for stories, and discover the wonders of nature with this immersive wilderness experience.

PAW Patrol: Adventure Play
Discovery Cube OC, Santa Ana
Ends September 4, 2023

Join Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Everest, Rocky, Zuma, and Tracker as you run rescue missions, overcome challenges, check out the lookout tower, board the PAW Patroller to rescue a snowboarder, and cruise the Sea Patroller to rescue seagulls and turtles.

Ocean Encounter
Discovery Cube OC, Santa Ana
Ends September 4, 2023

Ocean Encounter lets visitors explore the zones of the ocean by visiting interactive stations that focus on the different aspects of ocean life and the threats they face. The museum just opened their permanent Discovery Cube Sea Lab featuring shark and tidepool tanks, but Ocean Encounter is a limited-time summer experience.

Festival of STEM
Discovery Cube LA, Sylmar
Ends September 4, 2023

Discover science this summer with a variety of interactive displays and hands-on activities including: digging for fossils, meet a baby triceratops, unearth gems and crystals, build and launch a rocket, engineer a spacecraft vehicle, build a seismic structure, and more!

 


 


Kidspace Campout
Kidspace Children’s Museum, Pasadena
Ends September 4, 2023

Kidspace Campout returns to celebrate the most iconic American summer experiences. Learn about native wildlife, meet animal ambassadors, splash through the museum’s Arroyo stream, hop on the trike trail for a road trip over the Golden Gate Bridge, and check out their all-new interactive exhibit, Arroyo Pequeño.

 


 

Wondering about the…

Endeavor Space Shuttle?
December 31, 2023 will be the last chance to see Endeavor on exhibit at the California Science Center. The shuttle will be moved across Exposition Park into the future Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center.

Maya: The Exhibition?
This historical exhibition features over 250 authentic artifacts highlighting the ancient Maya civilization of Mexico and Central America and will be on display until January 15, 2024.

Butterfly Exhibits?
The Butterfly Pavilion at the Natural History Museum closes August 13, tickets for SOAR – Tropical Butterflies at South Coast Botanic Garden are available through August 31, and Flight! A Live Butterfly Experience at Santa Ana Zoo is still open daily.
