LA & Orange County Mentoring Programs – Where to Find a Mentor, Be a Mentor

Mentoring programs generally match adult/teen volunteers with children facing adversity to provide supported one-to-one mentoring. With a positive role model, children are more likely to believe in themselves, gain confidence, improve their academic performance, avoid risky behavior, and go to college.

Programs conduct thorough background checks on their volunteers and are closely monitored and supported by trained match coordinators.

Mentoring opportunities can be community, school, or workplace based.
