Where Kids Eat Free in Long Beach & Orange County

With everything going up in price this summer, going out to dinner with the whole family might just blow that budget right out the water! We rounded up a list of local Southern California restaurants offering free meals and deals for kids!

Editor’s Note: Details may be subject to change (we found that most restaurants have stopped deals and discounts due to the pandemic). In any case, be sure to call your local restaurant to confirm if they’re participating.

Monday

Long Beach Fish Grill (Long Beach)
Kids (ages 12 and under) eat free with purchase of one entrée plate per person.

Roman Cucina (Fullerton)
Kids eat free with purchase of a regular entrée. Dine-in only.

Tuesday

Carrows Restaurant
From 11 am – close, Carrows is offering two free kid’s meals on Tuesdays with a purchase of a regular priced adult entrée. Valid for kids 10 and under. No substitutions.

George’s Greek Cafe (Lakewood)
Kids eat free with purchase of adult entrée (Lakewood location only).

Marie Callender’s
In various locations, Marie Callender’s is offering a free kids meal per each adult entrée on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Local participating locations include Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Gardena, and Orange. Find more locations on their website.

Red Lobster
Redeem one free kids’ meal (maximum value of $9.99) with purchase of each dinner entrée up to a maximum of ten. Offer valid on Tuesdays for a limited time; subject to cancellation at any time without notice. Use code: LOBSTER91. Terms and conditions here.

Ruby’s Diner
On Tuesday nights starting at 4 pm, children (12 & under) may eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée. This promotion is only valid at participating locations.

The Nest: También
Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Thursday with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Wednesday

IKEA
IKEA Family members (free to join) get 50% off kids meals with purchase of adult entrée on Wednesdays.

Legends Restaurant & Sports Bar (Long Beach)
On Wednesdays after 6 p.m., kids eat for free with an order of an adult meal.

Red Robin
Every Wednesday, get 50% off kids meal – which includes kids’ entrée, side and drink. And when you dine-in, that includes unlimited free refills of bottomless sides and drinks. Use promo code: KIDSMEAL50 when ordering online. Offer valid at participating locations for kids under 11 years old.

Sundried Tomato Bistro (San Clemente)
Kids eat free on Wednesday nights with a purchase of an adult entrée.

Woody’s Diner
Kids under the age of 12 may eat for free from 4 p.m. to close on Wednesday nights at participating locations.

Thursday

Gladstone’s (Long Beach)
Every Thursday of the week, make sure to mention their kids deal, and your little one may eat for free! Bring in your kid for a complimentary meal with any purchase of an adult meal. Children’s meals include a beverage (milk, lemonade or soda), main course, and a vanilla ice cream sundae.

Mama’s (Los Alamitos, Ladera Ranch & Huntington Beach)
Mama’s is offering free kids meals all day/night every Thursday with purchase of adult entrée. For ages 12 and under only and from Lil Rascals Menu only.

Mendocino Farms
Kids eat free every Thursday with the purchase of one adult entrée at participating locations including Brea, Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Tustin. Click on your local location to see if it offers the deal.

The Nest: También (Bellflower)
Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Thursday with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Weekends

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
Kids eat free on Sundays! One Kids Meal per check with a minimum $12 purchase. Available at participating Dickey’s locations only for kids ages 12 and under. Use code: KEFOLO when ordering online.

Romeo Cucina (Laguna Niguel)
Family Night deal every Sunday. Get 50% off any kids meal and kids fountain drinks.

Any Day

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream
At Bruster’s Ice Cream, children who are under 40 inches tall will be provided with a free baby cone.

Chili’s
Parents who are enrolled in the My Chili’s Rewards program (free to join) are eligible for the Kids Eat Free promotion. Items on the kids’ menu, dubbed Pepper Pals by Chili’s, include sliders, pizza, pasta, chicken tenders, and more.

Denny’s
Kids Eat Free with adult entrée purchase of $6 or more. Days and participation vary by location. Restrictions may apply. See store for details.

Firehouse Subs
Parents, use your email address to sign up your child (ages 15 & under) to receive a special offer on their birthday. Get a free Kids’ Combo with purchase of medium or large sub, chips and drink, or free medium sub with purchase of an additional medium or large sub, chips and drink. Register before your child’s birthday Offer valid on your child(ren)’s birthday or within the following six days.

IHOP
For a limited time, IHOP is offering free kids meals from 4-10 p.m. everyday. One free kids meal with each full-priced adult entrée purchase. Dine-in only and not valid with happy hour.

The Old Spaghetti Factory
Parents, sign your child up for The Old Spaghetti Factory Birthday Club and receive a free kid’s meal on your child’s birthday and a free treat on their half birthday. For children 12 and under.
