8 Things to Do at the OC Fair

The 2022 OC Fair opens July 15, which means it’s almost time to Feel the Sunshine!

There’s lots of fun things planned for every day with activities ranging from getting up close and personal with animals to checking out exhibits, shopping, and enjoying live performances.

1. Explore the Explorium

For kids and families, Explorium returns to OC Promenade this year with special activities designed to help little ones learn about fun on the farm. The Magic of Frank Thurston will entertain there each day.

2. Visit the Centennial Farm

Fairgoers can learn about bees, gardening, see milking demonstrations, plus produce and floral exihibits along with the farm’s resident animals and crops.

3. Cheer for Your Favorite Piggy

All-Alaskan Racing Pigs will be back in their track in Plaza Pacifica. Cheer on your favorite little piggies as they run around the course.

4. Feast on Fair Food

Funnel cakes, BBQ, deep-fried treats, cinnamon rolls, family-sized pizza, exotic floats, ice cream and everything on a stick!

5. Meet Sunny Lemon

Sunny Lemon joins the ranks of Foodies including Strawberry Jan, who joined the team last year. The Foodies are out at various times during the day and are happy to take photos with fairgoers.

6. Catch Live Performances Every Night

Hypnotist Mark Yuzuik and the Polynesian dance ensemble Tupua will perform nightly in Plaza Pacifica.

7. Taste Fair Food for $4 on Thursdays

Get a sampling of food and treats for $4 each every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check out the menu here.
