Dinosaur Encounters

Have a dinosaur encounter with engaging and fun live performances featuring NHM’s life-size dinosaur puppets. Shows are Thursdays and Fridays at 10:30am and 11:30 am and Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Tickets are $6 per person.

 


 

Sawdust Art Festival

Kidspace Campout

Dinos in the City!

Explore engaging interactives with life-like animatronic dinosaurs and exciting educational content.

Learn how paleontologists unearth dinosaur bones, dig in the dinosaur pit, and get a chance to collect several dinosaur trading cards.

The STEAM Lab will bring children back to the ice age through predicting and problem-solving hands-on activities. A Night at the Museum series will invite guests to enjoy dinosaur-themed movies, scavenger hunts and nighttime discovery with resident dino friends!

Exhibit is included in your Pretend City admission.

 


 

Butterfly Pavilion

Solar System Encounter

Experience a new way of viewing our solar system as you fully immerse themselves in an up-close view of our galaxy in this seasonal large-scale model Solar System Encounter exhibit. Discover the planets with vivid projection mapping images, colorful lights, and impressive displays.

The all-new Rocket Launch lets visitors interact with a variety of rocket ships as they are challenged with not only launching but landing their rockets.

Mars Rover Test Course will also let future scientists explore Mars and charter the Red Planet on a very special mission.

 


 

Emotions at Play

Emotions at Play with Pixar’s Inside Out, is the first interactive exhibit based on the award-winning Disney and Pixar film. The exhibit is designed to help visitors understand the important role of emotions, memory and imagination play in our everyday lives.

  • Step into Headquarters to explore the range and intensity of emotions at the Control Panel
  • Explore how we feel with our faces and bodies at the Emotions Mirrors
  • Creating a glowing Memory Sphere
  • Use your imagination to create a story and perform it at Dream Productions
  • Work to keep the train on track – what feelings do you have when you control and balance the Train of Thought?
  • Explore how emotions work together as you stack and balance the Emotion Blocks
