Kids Free October at San Diego Attractions

October 1-31, 2022

All month long, kids 12 and under receive free admission with a paid adult to more than 50 of San Diego County’s favorite museums, historic sites, aquariums, gardens and more. Many are even free for the whole family.

Participating attractions include: SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Safari Park, LEGOLAND, Birch Aquarium, Japanese Friendship Garden, Living Coast Discovery Center, Maritime Museum of San Diego, San Diego Air & Space Museum, USS Midway Museum, and lots more!

The Orange County Model Engineers offer public ride days every third weekend of each month. To ride the trains, children must be able to walk and be at least 31″ tall. A typical trip takes about 12 minutes and covers two loops of the park.

Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated 30 years to giving youth ages 8-17 their first free ride in an airplane. Meet your pilot, learn how airplanes work, look at aeronautical charts, explore the interior of the airplane and instrument panel, and review safety policies. Flights are 15-20 minutes and follow the basic steps in the flight pattern.
