Southern California Railway Museum
Explore the West’s largest collection of railway locomotives, passenger and freight cars, streetcars, interurban electric cars, building, and other artifacts. Visitors can ride trains and trolleys on weekends.
Visit the museum’s collection of more than 200 streetcars and railway vehicles to experience the early days of electric, steam, and diesel railway transportation in and around Los Angeles.
A variety of special events such as car shows and swap meets, plus special trains are scheduled throughout the year.
Check out the “Run One” program, where you can get behind the controls with a qualified engineer. Engineer Trainee minimum age is 18, however, kids 5 years and older may ride along with an adult.
Parking, entry to grounds, and entry to open exhibits are free.
