Skirball Cultural Center

A place of meeting guided by the Jewish tradition of welcoming the stranger. People of all communities and generations are welcome to participate in cultural experiences and exhibitions.

On permanent display, Noah’s Ark is a floor-to-ceiling wooden ark, filled to the rafters with whimsical animals handcrafted from recycled materials. Children are encouraged to play, climb, and explore the 8,000-square-foot wooden ark.

Download their mobile app, An Ark for All, to preview your visit and plan your activities. The app is developed for families with developmental disabilities and young children.

Family-friendly activities include art making, archaeology digs, story time and more.

Kidsguide Tip: Admission is free every Thursday.
