Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology
The Alf Museum located on the Webb Schools campus in Claremont features two circular exhibits totaling 4,000 square feet. Visitors can see the inner workings of a paleontology museum, the fossil preparation lab, and a collections storage room through windows cut into the walls.
The Hall of Footprints displays a unique fossil track and trackway collection that is among the largest of its kind in the United States.
The Hall of Life includes wall-size murals showing ancient environments and a time line depicting important episodes in history with life forms from four major eras of geologic time.
