Los Angeles Fire Department Museum

Hollywood Museum
Old Fire Station 27 has been restored to represent what the station was like when it was in operation in the 1930s. Three apparatus bays are filled with equipment, dating back to the early 1900s and not found anywhere else. There’s also a Fire Service Research Library and learning center where fire and life safety lessons are shared with children and adults.

Harbor Museum
Old Fire Station 36 is housed in one of the oldest buildings in San Pedro. The museum features LAFD apparatus, artifacts from the San Pedro area and some of the most famous fires in the area.

Both museums offer free admission.
