Autry Museum of the American West
Located in Griffith Park, the Autry features world-class galleries filled with Native American art and cultural materials, film memorabilia, historic firearms, paintings, interactive areas, a garden, and more.
Educational Resources available on their website with lessons, videos, and activities. Social Stories are guides with photos and descriptions to help people on the autism spectrum prepare for their visit.
Family Play Space is available on select days with rotating family-friendly activities. Films on the lawn, weekend museum tours, and special events offered all year.
Kidsguide Tip: Head over to the Autry lawn on October 28, 2023, for Street Food Cinema: Hocus Pocus 30th Anniversary, to watch the movie projected on the big screen and enjoy some of the city’s tastiest food trucks.
