Heritage Hill Historical Park

Heritage Hill Historical Park is a 4-acre park featuring a collection of four fully-restored and furnished historic buildings that span the early history of the Saddleback Valley and El Toro area.

The Mexican Rancho era is typified by the circa 1863 Serrano Adobe. The 1890 El Toro Grammar School and 1891 St. George’s Episcopal Mission are representative of the founding of El Toro. The 1908 Harvey Bennett Ranch House is characteristic of citrus farming days of the early twentieth century.

The buildings are open for public access only during a tour. Guided tours through the buildings are provided for the public Wednesday through Saturday. Three free “walk-in” tours are offered weekly for individuals and groups of seven or less on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 11 a.m. Call or visit the website for tour availability.

Three school tour programs are offered to third and fourth grade classes: Living History program, Hands-on Tour, and the Native American program.

Grounds available for special events.
