San Diego Air & Space Museum

One of the world’s premier air and space-themed science centers with more than 120 aircraft and space vehicles and two million artifacts on display. The exhibits include rare and unique aircraft engines, instruments, models and equipment, as well as aviation-related medals, trophies, art, uniforms and spacesuits.

Special exhibits include American Women of Flight, honoring the contributions of women to the world of aviation, and SPACE: Our Greatest Adventure, featuring selfie stations on the Moon, Mars and International Space Station, plus hands-on learning experiences.

Interactive areas include the Max Flight simulator ride, Aerial Combat simulator, and the 3D/4D Zable Theater that plays immersive films with unique effects for all ages.

Summer camp, workshops, preschool programs, Little Engineers, and Pilot Ground School are offered. Birthday party packages and memberships also available.

 

KG Tip: Watch as pumpkins are launched from the roof of the museum during the Pumpkin Chuckin’ event on October 14, 2023. During the event, observe the partial solar eclipse at 9:45am. Bring your eclipse glasses or make them there.
