Tanaka Farms
Tanaka Farms offers u-pick wagon rides and guided tours of their 30-acre farm all year long. The wagon stops for you to pick a variety of fruits and veggies depending on the season.
Visit the Barnyard Educational Exhibit to see donkeys, goats, sheep, and even a mini cow.
Check out their Chicks & Sprouts Workshop, where kids (ages 4-10) learn about baby chicks, plant their own sunflower, harvest veggies, and visit the animals, and the Chicken Club where kids (ages 6-16) learn all about chickens and compete in chicken shows.
Story time, seasonal harvest festivals, pumpkin patch, farm-to-table cookouts, CSA program (locally delivered farm produce boxes), group tours, and private parties also available. Reservations are required for tours and activities.
A produce market stand and gift shop are open daily.
KG Tip: The 2023 Pumpkin Patch season opens on September 16, 2023. Tanaka Farms also operates Hana Field in Costa Mesa, where you can stroll through a pumpkin patch starting September 30, 2023. Hikari, featuring photo-ops, games, arts and crafts, photos with Santa, and holiday lights, opens Black Friday.
