Santa Ana Zoo

Santa Ana Zoo features over 80 species of animals, including some of the smallest monkeys in the world, the Golden Headed Lion Tamarins. Explore their newest, multi-species exhibit, Tierra de las Pampas, to see anteaters, guanacos, and rheas. Walk through the aviary to see exotic birds, explore the Safari Playground, and feed goats and sheep at the Crean Family Farm.

Ticketed attractions include the Zoofari Express Train Ride, Conservation Carousel, and 50 Monkey Ferris Wheel.

Picnic areas for parties are available to rent. Memberships and “Adopt” An Animal program available. Santa Ana residents can visit for free on the third Sunday of each month.

KG Tip: This small zoo is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers! Visit October 21, 22, 28, or 29, for Boo at the Zoo, a Halloween family festival with trick-or-treating, lights and decorations, nocturnal animal presentations, and rides. Snow Day with the Critters, on December 17, is an all-Zoo celebration with animal education activities and the animals get “snow enrichment treats!”
