America’s Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College

America’s Teaching Zoo is a five-acre living classroom for the students of the Exotic Animal Training & Management Program at Moorpark College.

The zoo is open to the public on weekends for live animal presentations, training demos, special events, and more. See Ira the African lion, Clarence the 100-year-old Galapagos tortoise, and meet other animal ambassadors.
