Ocean Institute
Ocean Institute is an education center that offers over 60 marine science and maritime history programs. Family activities include weekend tours, tide pool hikes, and kayak harbor tours. Special programs for children under 4 are also offered.
Whale and marine life tours, plus bioluminescence night cruises aboard a research vessel are scheduled throughout the year.
Birthday parties, camps, volunteer and internship opportunities for teens, and special events are also offered. Memberships include admission and birthday party discounts, plus complimentary gifts.
