Aviation Summer Camps – Long Beach & Riverside

Airman Camp at Long Beach Airport and Riverside Flabob Airport

Students (ages 9-15) learn about aviation through fun activities including designing paper and balsa planes, flying simulators and R/C planes, and taking field trips to airport resources. Campers will also hear from aviation experts, tour airport facilities, and meet new friends!

This new location provides an excellent opportunity for kids to learn about aviation in a fun and engaging way. Expert instructors will teach campers everything from the basics of flight to more advanced topics like aircraft performance and navigation. With a hands-on approach, campers will have the option to fly a plane themselves and gain real-world experience in the aviation industry.

Cost:  $420 per session at Long Beach Airport and Riverside-Flabob Airport

Flight Experience Opportunity – $110: Participants in Airman Camp are also offered the chance to complete a flight under the guidance of a flight instructor. The 45-minute flight flies over the Queen Mary, USS Iowa, and Port of Long Beach.

Demo Flight Opportunity – $260: An hour-long full demo flight where campers can fly with an instructor. Mom or dad can come along too.
